Top 12 Super Fruit and Veggie Supplements Compared: Ingredients, Pros and Cons, Costs and Effectiveness

Country Farms whole food capsIn this guide I’ll investigate popular whole food capsules that are marketed as ‘super fruits and veggies’ in 2026, comparing their ingredients, pros and cons, monthly costs, and if they’re worth it or worth avoiding.

I’ll also cover additives and fillers, customer reviews and complaints, manufacturing practices, and what to look out for on supplement facts labels.

You can skip forward to any brand you’re interested in using the Table of Contents below. If you’d just like to see the ones I’d take and why, then check my verdict for the 2 best fruit and vegetable supplements here.

Or if you’d like to find out how brands like Country Farms, Vital Nutritive, Upnourish, Codeage, Clean Nutra, Life’s Essence, aSquared, Amate Life and Double Wood stack up in a direct comparison then this is the most detailed guide on super fruits and veggies capsules anywhere online.

What to Look For and Avoid with Fruit and Vegetable Capsules

There are 3 things to watch out for when choosing whole food supplements made from powdered vegetables and fruits. I’ll point them out when they’re an issue with any of the brands ahead, but here’s a quick summary to keep in mind. Double Wood Daily Fruit Veggie container

1. High Nutrition Ingredients

If a nutritional company labels their product ‘super fruits’ or ‘super veggies’ then it should be made from ingredients that are high in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. Real superfoods, not the common apple, banana, orange, cabbage, onion or especially soybean, as found in Balance of Nature and other overpriced TV supplements.

It doesn’t make much sense to shell out for common grocery store produce in a pill. Far better to have the concentrated nutrition in fruits like pomegranate, mangosteen, elderberry, acai and goji berries, or in greens like spirulina, chlorella, dandelion, matcha or ashitaba.

2. Less Additives and Fillers

You’ll often see additives like magnesium stearate, silica and stearic acid listed in ‘other ingredients’ on supplement facts labels. Some companies will say they need these additives as ‘flow agents’, ‘lubricants’ and ‘anti-caking agents’, yet other brands don’t use them at all so they’re far from essential.

You definitely don’t want to see too many fillers like rice flour, cellulose, rice hulls, guar gum, maltodextrin or apple fiber on the label. These bulk up fruit and vegetable capsules without providing any nutritional value, so the less of them the better.

3. Good Dosage per Serving

Nutrition facts panels should show the amount of concentrated fruits and vegetable powder in milligrams per serving. Often these will be listed in several blends. If the total milligrams per recommended serving size is low, and you see fillers listed on the label, it’s likely an under-dosed product worth avoiding.

Here are 12 different brands currently offering whole food capsules designed to provide a concentrated source of fruits, berries, vegetables and greens.

Some have good ingredients and more pros than cons, while others ahead seem to be selling more marketing and hype than any real nutritional benefits. Once you know what to look for it’s easy to spot the difference.

I’ve been researching and writing about superfood supplements for over 10 years now and have seen the same patterns over and over again. Price is often a poor indicator of quality and some of the best fruit and vegetable capsule choices below are also some of the least expensive.

1. Country Farms Super Fruits and Veggies — Market Leader

Country Farms was founded in 1975 and is one of the oldest nutritional brands in America. They wouldn’t have lasted 50 years in such a competitive market by making bad products or ripping off their customers.

Country Farms Super Fruits and Veggies is a very popular whole food supplement. It’s quite good and worth considering, but I think there are several better options in 2026 that I’ll cover ahead in this guide.

First let’s look at exactly what’s in Fruits and Veggies by Country Farms, followed by its pros and cons, monthly cost, and my verdict on its effectiveness.Country Farms Super Veggies Fruit tubs

Ingredients

  • Berry Blend: (643 mg)
Blueberry, Raspberry, Amla Berry, Cranberry, Noni Fruit, Black Currant, Goji Berry, Acai, Elderberry, Blackberry, Strawberry.
  • Fruit Blend:(1082 mg)
Apple, Tomato, Grape, Pineapple, Orange, Cherry, Lemon, Pear, Papaya, Peach, Pomegranate.
  • Vegetable Blend: (977 mg)
Beet Root, Broccoli, Carrot, Sweet Potato, Cabbage, Green Pea, Zucchini, Ginger Root, Onion, Garlic, Red Bell Pepper, Green Bell Pepper, Reishi Mushroom, Shiitake Mushroom, Maitake Mushroom, Cauliflower.
  • Greens Blend: (798 mg)
Spinach, Spirulina, Kale, Chlorella, Barley Sprouts, Alfalfa Sprouts, Broccoli Sprouts.
  • Other Ingredients: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (Capsule), Dicalcium Phosphate, Magnesium Stearate, Stearic Acid, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silica.

This is a good ingredients list with many nutritious superfoods. Keep in mind though that the fruits, berries, greens and vegetables listed first will be the largest by weight, according to convention.

So Country Farms Super Veggies should contain more spinach, spirulina, beet and broccoli than the mushrooms and sprouts at the end of the list. Likewise for the Super Fruits, with apple, tomato, and blueberry more predominant than the pomegranate, blackberry and strawberry listed further down.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. There’s a wide range of nutrient-rich superfoods in the Country Farms formula, with blueberry, amla, noni, spirulina, chlorella, beet and broccoli high up on the nutrition facts label.
  2. Better than Balance of Nature or Juice Plus for much less.
  3. Non-GMO, soy-free, gluten-free, no sweeteners, no artificial colors, made in the USA by a long-established American company.
  4. 180 pills, good value and generally positive reports from customers, with themes like ‘feeling better’ and ‘extra energy’ in the consumer feedback I read.

Cons

  1. Dicalcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, microcrystalline cellulose and silica are used to make these capsules. These are common fillers and binders but many Country Farms’ competitor brands, like Double Wood, UpNourish and Clean Nutra ahead, avoid using them.
  2. Some customer complaints online about pill size, capsule colors and the smell and taste of this product (although you’re not really supposed to be eating them).

Monthly Cost and Verdict

Country Farms Super Fruits and Super Veggies capsules aren’t a bad choice. Apart from the fillers and binders, there’s little to fault here and they are available for under $25 on the company’s website countryfarms.com.

It’s worth comparing it with some of the stronger competitors in this fruits and vegetables supplement guide though, like the Double Wood brand next.

2. Daily Fruit and Veggies by Double Wood — The One I Take Myself

While Country Farms makes a good product, I think Double Wood Daily Fruit and Veggies is much better. I was so impressed with these superfood capsules that I bought them in bulk and now take them on the mornings when I don’t blend up a green smoothie. Here’s why.

Double Wood’s ingredients list has more high-nutrient superfoods than Country Farms and many of them are organic. It’s also filler-free. Despite this, it costs less for the same 180-capsule monthly supply, especially with the discounted multipacks.

Value for money is important to me since I usually use a higher daily dose and go through the pills more quickly. At the same time, I’ll only take a supplement I know is safe and high-quality. That means it has to be third-party tested for both potency and impurities.

Double Wood is one of the few nutritional companies I’ve seen that shows independent certificates of analysis right on their product pages. These tests confirm Daily Fruit and Veggies is free of bacterial, yeast or heavy metal contamination and has exactly what it says on the label. I wouldn’t have the same level of confidence in some of the other brands covered ahead.Jim Dillan holding fruit and vegetable supplement bottle

Ingredients

  • Blend of 26 Fruits: Acai, Asian Pear, Apple, Bilberry, Bing Cherry, Blackberry, Black Currant, Blueberry, Chokeberry, Concord Grape, Cranberry, Elderberry, Goji Extract, Grapeseed, Mango, Mangosteen, Maqui, Organic Apple Pectin, Organic Grapefruit, Papaya, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Raspberry, Strawberry, Tomato, Tart Cherry.
  • Blend of 23 Vegetables: Alfalfa, Artichoke, Ashitaba, Barley, Beet, Broccoli, Carrot, Celery, Chlorella, Dandelion, Green Tea, Milk Thistle, Organic Kale, Organic Broccoli, Organic Carrot, Organic Spinach, Organic Beet, Organic Green Cabbage, Organic Parsley, Siberian Ginseng, Spinach, Spirulina, WheatGrass.
  • Other Ingredients: Hypromellose (Capsule).

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. Objectively better superfoods than Country Farms, with standouts like Siberian ginseng, ashitaba, grapeseed, dandelion, green tea, milk thistle, wheatgrass, bilberry, maqui berry and mangosteen.
  2. Third-party purity and safety testing certificates shown on product pages. Made in the USA and produced in a GMP-certified facility.
  3. Gluten-free, soy-free, vegan-safe, non-GMO and no chemicals, additives or fillers used in these veggie pills.

Cons

  1. I’d suggest taking 6 caps a day, rather than the 3 recommended. This does mean you would have a 30 day supply rather than 60 days shown on the label. Taking a high dose will give most people better results though.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

Double Wood Daily Fruit and Veggies is already less than Country Farms for the same 180 pills in a single bottle. There are also double and triple packs with further reductions and a welcome discount for new customers. The best value is here on the company’s website with no cost shipping within the USA.

If you’re looking for a good whole food supplement with nutrient-rich ingredients and safety testing, yet inexpensive to take regularly, Double Wood’s fruit and vegetable capsules are a solid choice. There are several other good brands ahead that may be a better fit for you, but this is the one I chose and I’m happy to recommend it to family and friends.

3. Vital Super Fruits & Veggies — An Example of What to Avoid

In my opinion, Vital Super Fruits & Veggies by Vital Nutritive is a great example of what to look out for and avoid in the whole food fruit and vegetable supplement market.

Vital Nutritive is popular on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. They also have a well-designed website and an Amazon listing with lots of attractive pictures promising all kinds of health benefits. As per usual with these listings, the ingredients panel is hidden away last out of 9 images, and I can understand why.

There’s only 600 mg of fruit and vegetable powder in the recommended 2-per-day dose of Vital Nutritive’s capsules. The first ingredient is also apple fiber powder, something I consider not much better than a filler, while brown rice flour is also shown in ‘other ingredients’ on the label. Vital Fruit and Veg Pills

Ingredients

  • Fruit and Veggie Blend (600 mg)
Apple Fiber Powder, Carrot Powder, Beet Root Powder, Blueberry Powder, Garlic Powder, Ginger Powder, Raspberry Powder, Red Bell Pepper Powder, Strawberry Juice Powder, Tomato Extract.
  • Other Ingredients: Gelatin (capsule), Brown Rice Flour.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. There are some healthy vegetables and berries on the Vital Super Fruits & Veggies nutrition facts label, though it’s questionable just how much each capsule contains.

Cons

  1. Customer feedback says that these capsules are quite large, yet there’s only 300 mg of fruit and veggie blend in each one. I suspect the brown rice flour filler makes up a good portion of these pills. Apple fiber powder is also first on the ingredients list, meaning it should be the largest addition by weight.
  2. Nearly fifty dollars for just 60 caps of such an under-dosed supplement is quite a ripoff in my opinion. I haven’t seen such a bad example like this since my Earth Energy review.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

There’s a range of different nutraceuticals sold on vitalnutritive.com. Their Vital Supergreens powder is actually quite good but the other products they sell are all capsule-based and most look overpriced and under-dosed.

The worst of the lot is Vital Nutritive fruit and veggie pills, yet they cost $49.95. I don’t see any way to justify this high price point for such a small amount of fruit and vegetable powder, especially with fillers making up a good percentage of the formula.

Both Double Wood and Country Farms are much healthier choices for less than half the monthly cost and triple the capsule count in their containers.

4. Upnourish Fruit & Veggie — USA-Grown, Organic and Great Value

UpNourish is a newer brand that should be more popular. There are several good reasons to recommend these whole food capsules as one of the best choices on the market in 2026.

They have a wide range of superfoods, 61 in total, with many nutrient-rich additions like aronia berry, pomegranate, dragon fruit, barley grass, matcha, chlorella, and shiitake, chaga and maitake mushrooms.

Every ingredient used in UpNourish’s Daily Fruit and Daily Veggie blends is organic. This product also comes in 2 large containers with 480 pills in total, versus 180 with Country Farms.UpNourish containers

Ingredients

  • Organic Fruits: (2011 mg)
Tomato, Papaya, Banana, Apple, Mango, Elderberry, Lemon, Aronia Berry, Blackberry, Blackcurrant, Acai Berry, Beet, Orange, Raspberry, Tart Cherry, Cranberry, Blueberry, Dragon Fruit, Kiwi, Mulberry, Peach, Strawberry, Green Olive, Pomegranate, Bilberry, White Grape, Red Grape, Pineapple, Pear, Watermelon, Wild Cherry.
  • Organic Veggies: (2009 mg)
Spinach, Broccoli, Green Cabbage, WheatGrass, Kale, Cucumber, Celery, Pumpkin, Zucchini, White Button Mushroom, Garlic, Alfalfa, Shiitake Mushroom, Sweet Potato, Red Onion, Lettuce, Cinnamon, Barley Grass, Chaga Mushroom, Bell Pepper, Carrot, Asparagus, Chlorella, Eggplant, Ginger, Maitake Mushroom, Red Bell Pepper, Orange Bell Pepper, Matcha Tea, Green Onion.
  • Other Ingredients: Vegetable Capsule.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. All organic ingredients with 61 nutritious and antioxidant-rich fruits, berries, herbs, vegetables, greens and medicinal mushrooms.
  2. Free of soy, gluten, dairy and GMOs. No chemicals, fillers or additives. Made in a GMP-certified facility in the USA.
  3. 480 capsules and a 2-month supply at the 8 pills a day recommended dose.
  4. The UpNourish brand also states on their website that they use “organic fruits and veggies bought from American farms.”

Cons

  1. There are no obvious negatives with this brand that I can see. UpNourish is a strong competitor in the super fruits and veggies supplement market in 2026.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

Daily Fruits and Veggies by UpNourish is made with all organic produce from American farms. And with 240 pills in each bottle, 480 in total, it will last you for much longer than most of the other options in this guide.

It’s good value versus most other super fruit and veggie supplements and you can check the current price here on the brand’s Amazon page.

5. Clean Nutra Fruits, Veggies and Greens — With Probiotics, Prebiotics and Digestive Enzymes

Clean Nutra is a supplement brand known for combining many different ingredients in their formulas and their Fruits, Veggies & Greens superfood product is no exception.

There are over 70 different vegetables, greens, herbs, mushrooms, fruits and berries in these capsules, along with prebiotic inulin, 5 different probiotics, various digestive enzymes, and piperine for improving absorption.Clean Nutra whole food caps

Ingredients

Each 4 capsule serving of Clean Nutra Fruits, Veggies & Greens contains:

  • 1000 mg Fruits Blend.
  • 1000 mg Green Superfood Blend.
  • 1000 mg Veggies Blend.
  • 10 mg (1 Billion CFU) Probiotic Blend.
  • 5 mg Prebiotic and Enzymes Blend.
  • 5 mg Black Pepper Extract (Piperine).

The full supplement facts panel for this product has so many different ingredients that it would be too long to list them all here. You can see them all here on their website.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. Clean Nutra has a wider range of superfoods than Country Farms, or any of the other whole food supplements in this guide. Amla, grapeseed, cayenne pepper, green tea, olive leaf, spirulina, oat grass, wheatgrass, okra, beetroot, ginger and fennel are just a few of the high-nutrient additions.
  2. This blend also contains various digestive enzymes, prebiotics, probiotics and piperine to enhance absorption during digestion.

Cons

  1. With so many different ingredients, the actual amounts of each per pill will be small. Fruits, Veggies & Greens would still provide a broader range of beneficial phytonutrients than most competitors though.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

The best value with Clean Nutra Fruits, Veggies & Greens is currently here on their website. This product isn’t much more than Country Farms Super Fruit and Veggies, yet it packs a much wider range of ingredients into each pill.

6. Bioschwartz Daily Fruits and Vegetables — Good Ingredients and Good Value

Bioschwartz is a respected nutritional company founded in 2016 and their Daily Fruits and Daily Veggies is one of the better superfood supplements in this comparative guide.

This fruit and vegetable replacement has a strong ingredients list, is properly dosed, safety-tested, made in the USA, and well worth considering in my opinion.Bioschwartz Veggies and Fruit containers

Ingredients

  • Fruits Nourish Blend (700 mg)
Strawberry, Aloe Vera, Papaya, Rosehips, Elderberry, Pomegranate, Acerola, Banana, Bilberry, Grape, Lycopene.
  • Fruits Defend Blend (700 mg)
Noni, Cranberry, Blueberry, Tart Cherry, Blackberry, Orange, Date Palm, Jojoba Seed, Grapefruit, Camu Camu, Kiwi.
  • Fruits Restore Blend (700 mg)
Goji, Red Raspberry, Pineapple, Mango, Sweet Cherry, Lemon, Apple, Avocado, Fig, Nectarine, Acai Palm, Prickly Pear.
  • Veggies Nourish Blend (710 mg)
Alfalfa Grass, Spinach, Parsley, Cabbage, Kale, Cauliflower, Celery Seed, White Onion, Zucchini, Broccoli, Watercress.
  • Vegetables Defend Blend (710 mg)
Chlorella, Spirulina, Garlic, Carrot, Beet Root, Cayenne Pepper, Shiitake Mushroom, Wheatgrass, Sweet Potato, Red Onion.
  • Veggies Restore Blend (650 mg)
Barley Grass, Brussels Sprouts, Asparagus, Green Pea, Bunching Onion, Red Cabbage, Holy Basil.
  • Other Ingredients: Hypromellose (Capsule), Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide, Organic Rice Hulls.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. BioSchwartz Daily Fruits and Veggies has a long and quite impressive ingredients list, with nutritious superfoods like rosehips, acerola, noni, camu camu, goji, watercress, chlorella, spirulina, shiitake, barley grass and holy basil.
  2. Dairy, soy and gluten-free. Vegan and non-GMO. Made in the USA in a cGMP facility and third-party tested. Long-established brand with a reputation for quality to uphold.

Cons

  1. With so many different ingredients in this formula the amounts of each individually will be small. That said, there’s over 4000 mg of superfood powder in each 6 capsule daily serve, which is higher than most competitors.
  2. Organic rice hulls filler and silicon dioxide shown in ‘other ingredients’ for BioSchwartz Daily Veggies, though not Daily Fruits.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

BioSchwartz Daily Fruits and Veggies is a healthy product and stacks up well versus Country Farms and many of the other brands in this article. It’s good value here on the brand’s popular Amazon store, especially compared to overpriced brands like Vital Super Fruits and Veggies.

7. Codeage Instantfood Five A Day Comparison

Codeage is an American nutritional company based in Boca Raton, Florida. They are known for their high quality and stringent safety standards, and guarantee all their products sold in the USA are also made in the USA in GMP-certified facilities.

Instantfood Five A Day is their fruit and vegetable supplement they say “delivers the phytonutrient power of 5 servings of fruits and vegetables in one convenient capsule.” I like the Codeage brand and have tried Five A Day before, but didn’t notice much difference and find this statement to be a little ambitious.

Let’s have a look at what’s inside these capsules and see how they stack up against the other whole food supplements in this comparison.Jim Dillan holding Codeage Instafood tub

Ingredients

  • PhytoServ Veggie Blend (180 mg)
Broccoli Sprouts, Onion Bulb, Tomato Fruit, Carrot Root, Spinach Leaf, Kale Leaf, Brussels Sprouts.
  • PhytoServ Fruit Blend (140 mg)
Grapeseed, Blueberry Fruit, Raspberry Fruit, Cranberry Fruit, Prune Fruit, Tart Cherry Fruit, Wild Berry Fruit Extract, Strawberry Fruit.
  • Other Ingredients: Methylcellulose Capsule, Microcrystalline Cellulose.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. Kale, spinach and particularly broccoli sprouts are very nutritious veggies, while grapeseed and the various berries in Instantfood Five A Day are rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients.

Cons

  1. Even if the ingredients are good, 320 mg of concentrated fruit and veggie powder in a single daily pill isn’t a high enough dosage in my opinion.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

Codeage actually makes 3 different types of fruit and vegetables capsules. Their excellent Amen Fruits + Veggies, which I covered here in Balance of Nature Cheaper Alternatives, and Instantfood Easy Veggies & Fast Fruits, which is a similar substitute for Balance of Nature.

Unfortunately, at $29.95 for just 30 pills, Instantfood Five A Day doesn’t compare that well to either Amen Fruits + Veggies or Easy Veggies & Fast Fruits. I’d suggest choosing one of those instead if you want to go with the Codeage brand.

8. Life’s Essence Super Fruits and Super Veggies Review

Life’s Essence by Nature’s Core is a similar superfood supplement to UpNourish covered earlier. It has many of the same ingredients and, like UpNourish, comes in bigger containers than most other fruits and vegetable capsule brands on the market in 2026.Life’s Essence Super Fruit

Ingredients

The nutrition facts labels for Life’s Essence Super Fruits and Super Veggies each have ‘Maintenance’, ‘Protection’ and ‘Healing’ blends with various ingredients repeated several times. I think this can be confusing for customers so I’ve combined them into a single list for each below.

  • Fruit (2011 mg)
Tomato, Papaya, Banana, Apple, Grape, Elderberry, Strawberry, Aloe Vera, Orange, Tart Cherry, Cranberry, Wild Blueberry, Grapefruit, Raspberry, Pineapple, Mango, Sweet Cherry, Lemon.
  • Vegetables (2010 mg)
Broccoli, Spinach, Green Cabbage, Wheatgrass, Kale, Cauliflower, Celery, White Onion, Zucchini, Garlic, Red Cabbage, Red Onion, Carrot, Kale, Cayenne Pepper, Shiitake Mushroom, Sweet Potato, Green Onion.
  • BioPerine (5 mg).

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. There’s a good range of veggies, greens, fruits and berries in these whole food vitamins by Nature’s Core. This product is also non-GMO, vegan, soy-free and has no additives, according to the company.
  2. Generally positive customer feedback with several people mentioning an increase in their energy levels since taking it.
  3. With 180 capsules in each bottle, 360 in total, Life’s Essence’s super veggies and fruits would last for twice as long as many other products in this comparison guide.

Cons

  1. While the ingredients are quite good, Double Wood, Clean Nutra and Country Farms all contain objectively better superfoods than Life’s Essence Fruits And Veggies.
  2. I couldn’t find a proper supplement facts panel for Life’s Essence to see if it contained fillers. The Nature’s Core brand has no website and there were no consumer pictures to check.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

Life’s Essence Super Fruits and Veggies costs $39.95 for a 2 month supply of 360 pills. It’s quite a good value and certainly better than overpriced brands advertised on TV like Balance of Nature.

UpNourish Daily Fruit and Veggie has 480 capsules though. It’s also made from organic produce grown on American farms and manufactured in the USA in a GMP-certified facility.

You can get currently get UpNourish for less than Life’s Essence Super Fruits and Veggies here on their Amazon page. It’s a bigger and better organic superfood supplement in a direct comparison.

9. aSquared Nutrition Essential Fruits and Veggies Vitamins — Overpriced

The company aSquared Nutrition makes a whole food supplement that has similar ingredients to Country Farms. Their Essential Fruits and Veggies also has the same 180 capsules in 2 tubs, but the price is almost double and it’s hard to see why.

Fruit Veggie aSquared Nutrition

Ingredients

  • Essential Fruit (2250 mg)
Aloe Vera, Apple, Banana, Blueberry, Cherry, Cranberry, Grape Skin, Grapefruit Seed, Lemon, Mango, Orange, Papaya, Pineapple, Raspberry, Strawberry, Tomato, Acai, Goji Berry, Pomegranate Peel, Cantaloupe.
  • Essential Veggies (2250 mg)
Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrot, Cauliflower, Cayenne Pepper, Celery Seed, Garlic, Kale, Onion, Shiitake Mushroom, Maitake Mushroom, Spinach, Black Radish, Chinese Yam, Zucchini, Alfalfa, Bitter Melon, Artichoke Leaf, Asparagus, Parsley.
  • Other Ingredients: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Vegetable Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. A good range of superfood ingredients with grapefruit seed, acai, goji berry, parsley, bitter melon, pomegranate peel, celery seed and maitake mushroom as standouts.
  2. The aSquared Nutrition company website says all their products, “are always made in the USA, in FDA-registered and GMP-compliant facilities.” They also state that all their supplements, “undergo rigorous testing to ensure quality and reliability.”

Cons

  1. Twice as expensive as Country Farms’ fruits and vegetables replacement product for the same monthly supply.
  2. aSquared Nutrition Fruit and Veggies capsules have magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. These are common anti-caking agents but other brands like Codeage, Double Wood, UpNourish and Clean Nutra all avoid using them.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

aSquared Nutrition’s Essential Fruit and Veggies is available for $39.95 on their own website and Amazon. They’re not a bad choice nutritionally, and certainly much better than Balance of Nature.

But in 2026 I don’t see why a customer wouldn’t choose Double Wood Fruit and Veggies with better superfoods for less than half the monthly cost. Or UpNourish with all organic ingredients and 480 capsules versus 180 for the same price.

10. Feel Great Super Fruits and Super Veggies Capsules — Not So Great

The Feel Great Company offers similar fruit and vegetable vitamins to Country Farms, UpNourish and Double Wood, though they are significantly more for no good reason that I can see.

I also have questions about the marketing for this brand and don’t think potential customers are given enough information to make an informed choice.Feel Great vitamins

Ingredients

The Feel Great Company lists the following ingredients on their Amazon listing for Super Fruits and Super Veggies Duo. This list appears to be an amalgamation of the various blends on their product packaging.

  • Fruit Blend (2100 mg)
Aloe Vera, Apple, Banana Powder, Blueberry, Cherry, Cranberry, Grape Skin, Grapefruit, Lemon, Mango, Orange Fruit, Papaya, Pineapple, Raspberry, Strawberry, Tomato, Acai, Goji Berry, Pomegranate.
  • Vegetable Blend (2150 mg)
Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrot, Cauliflower, Cayenne Pepper, Celery, Garlic, Kale, Onion, Shitake, Maitake Mushroom, Spinach, Wheat Grass, Wild Yam, Zucchini, Alfalfa, Bitter Melon, Artichoke, Asparagus, Parsley.
  • Other Ingredients: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. Good range of healthy fruits, berries, vegetables and greens with 4450 mg per 6 capsule daily dose.
  2. The company states this product is, “made in the USA at a trusted GMP facility.”

Cons

  1. The Feel Great Vitamin Company’s website sells Super Fruits and Super Veggies Duo for $49.97, making it the most expensive option of all the 12 products covered here.
  2. This brand’s site mentions organic produce on the sales page and has images with the ‘USDA Organic’ symbol, yet the product labels do not list their ingredients as organic. This is confusing for customers and could influence their decision with incorrect information.
  3. Checking consumer pictures, as I often do for superfood supplement reviews, I can see an ‘other ingredients’ section with hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. This is not shown anywhere on Feel Great’s website or Amazon listing. Personally, I think it’s a bit deceptive to not show additives that people may want to avoid.

Cost Comparison

Super Fruits and Super Veggies is available on the Feel Great Vitamin Company’s website for $49.97 and on Amazon. I couldn’t find these fruit and vegetable pills at Walmart, Costco, CVS, GNC or any other online retailers.

Perhaps as a Balance of Nature alternative this product would compare well. However, it doesn’t look like a good choice versus Country Farms or most of the other whole food supplements I’ve reviewed here.

Double Wood Fruit and Veggies has superior ingredients and you can get 3 bottles here on their website for less than 1 container of Feel Great’s veggie capsules.

11. Amate Life Organic Superfood — Additives and Filler Concerns

Organic Superfood by Amate Life looks good at first glance. It’s inexpensive with a healthy and organic ingredients list. There are some problems with this product though that would make me steer clear of it.

Chief among them is the unusual number of additives and fillers used in these pills, including sunflower oil, palm oil, guar gum and maltodextrin. 4 ingredients I personally think have no business being in nutritional supplements.Amate Life organic superfood capsule container

Ingredients

  • Organic Greens Blend (770 mg)
Alfalfa Grass, Barley Grass, Oat Grass, Broccoli, Spinach Leaf, Cabbage, Pea, Cauliflower, Parsley Leaf, Brussels Sprout, Kale Leaf, Cucumber, Celery Stalk, Asparagus.
  • Organic Fruit and Vegetable Blend (580 mg)
Apple Fruit Pulp, Beet Root, Carrot Root, Tomato, Strawberry, Tart Cherry, Blackberry, Garlic Bulb, Green Onion, Blueberry, Raspberry, Ginger Root, Rice and Green Bell Pepper.
  • Other Ingredients: Acacia Gum, Rice Extract Blend (Rice Extract, Rice Hulls, Gum Arabic, Sunflower Oil), Silica Concentrate, And Film Coating (Purified Water, Maltodextrin, Sunflower Lecithin, Palm Oil And Guar Gum).

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. 28 organic greens vegetables and fruit with alfalfa, parsley, barley grass, blackberry, ginger and blueberry as standouts.
  2. Third-party tested and made in a GMP-certified facility in the USA, according to Amate Life.

Cons

  1. There are far too many fillers in this product and I have no idea what rice is doing in the main ingredients list when it’s clearly a filler itself.
  2. Sunflower oil, palm oil, guar gum and maltodextrin are all additives that some people like myself prefer to avoid. They shouldn’t be in a nutritional product meant to improve your health.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

Amate Life Organic Superfood could have been so much better. It’s got all organic ingredients and a fairly low price point. It’s let down by way too many fillers and additives though and looking through consumer reports I understood why.

While Amate Life’s supplement facts label and Amazon listing says this product has 60 capsules, the containers actually contain large tablets instead.

Some customers complained that these are sticky and difficult to swallow and one verified purchaser even uploaded a picture with many broken tablets she called a “bad batch.”

I think this brand should ditch the tablets with all their fillers, binders and coatings, and move to capsule delivery like virtually every other fruit and veggie blend on the market.

Amate Life should also provide more than just 60 pills per bottle to be competitive. Until then they are not recommended.

12. Country Farms Fruits & Veggies Capsules Review

Before they released Super Fruit and Veggies, Country Farms had another bestseller simply called Fruits & Veggies. I thought it would be worth comparing these 2 products since they’re quite different and this one may suit you better.

Country Farms Fruits & Veggies only has 60 capsules and a 2 per day recommended dose. That’s much lower than the 180 pills and 6 a day dosage you get with Super Fruit and Veggies.

It’s cheaper though and has some interesting ingredients, particularly its added antioxidants like lycopene, quercetin, lutein and pterostilbene. There’s other potent additions too, such as turmeric, mustard seed, grape seed extract, bioflavonoids and allicin from garlic.Country Farms fruits and veggies supplement bottle

Ingredients

  • Carotenoid Concentrate Blend (330 mg)
Carrot, Tomato (provides 300 mcg of Lycopene), Cantaloupe, Peach, Cayenne Pepper, Yellow Squash.
  • Citrus Bioflavonoid Concentrate Blend (350 mg)
Seville Orange Bioflavonoids, Grapefruit (from 40 mg 4:1 Extract) and Grapefruit Powder, Orange, Lemon, Lime, Quercetin Dihydrate.
  • Phenolic Concentrate Blend (110 mg)

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. Extensive ingredients list with an array of potent superfoods, herbs, phenolic concentrates, antioxidants and digestive enzymes.
  2. Made in the USA, non-GMO, no sweeteners, no artificial colors, vegan.
  3. Affordable product at under $15 a month from a long-established American nutritional company with generally positive customer ratings overall.

Cons

  1. Smaller daily dosage versus Country Farms Super Fruits and Veggies, or any other brands in this comparison, with the exception of Codeage and Vital Nutritive.
  2. Country Farms have once again used fillers rice flour, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silica, and natural & artificial flavors. I don’t see any good reason why artificial flavors should be in whole food capsules.
  3. While consumer feedback is mostly good, I did find some people complaining about an upset stomach after taking these pills. Taking them with food will usually prevent this negative side effect.

Monthly Cost and Verdict

Country Farms Fruits & Veggies could be a good choice if you’re looking for a combination of whole foods, digestive enzymes and concentrated antioxidants like lutein, pterostilbene, lycopene and quercetin. It’s available for less than most other super fruit and veggie pill competitors here on the brand’s Amazon store, with the 2 pack usually better value.

As to which Country Farms capsules are better, I’d say it depends on what you’re looking for personally. If you want to make up for a lack of nutritious vegetables and fruits in your diet then go with the Super Fruit and Veggies product.

On the other hand, Country Farms Fruits & Veggies is a simple and affordable way to get a good range of antioxidants, digestive enzymes, bioflavonoids and other nutrients. Though if I were taking this supplement I would take double the suggested 2 pills a day dosage for better results.

The 2 Best Fruit and Vegetable Supplements in 2026

After comparing ingredient lists, monthly costs, fillers, produce sourcing, manufacturing practices and safety testing, 2 super fruit and veggie capsule brands clearly stand out. They’re the top picks among the 12 whole food supplements reviewed in this guide.

1. Double Wood Daily Fruit and Veggies

Daily Fruit and Veggies by Double Wood has 49 different superfoods, 180 capsules, and is made in the USA in a GMP-certified facility. There are third-party potency and purity testing certificates shown on their site, so you know they’re both safe to take and contain what’s listed on the label.

Double Wood strikes me as a brand producing high-quality supplements, yet keeping its prices down to gain market share. That’s something I appreciate and I take 6 of these fruit and veggie capsules most mornings with breakfast for extra energy and nutrition.

The best place to get them is here on the company’s website in the reduced double or triple packs. There’s also a welcome discount and complimentary US delivery, making Double Wood much better value than other options like Country Farms or Vital Super Fruits and Veggies.

2. Upnourish Fruit & Veggie

The UpNourish brand is made in the USA from all organic ingredients and there are many nutritious vegetables, fruits, berries, greens, medicinal mushrooms and other superfoods in their formula. This product comes in 2 large containers with 480 capsules in total, and will last you longer than most other competitors, even at a higher daily dosage.

You can get Fruit & Veggie by UpNourish here on their Amazon store listing, which also has lots of customer feedback on their effectiveness and the results people are getting with these whole food supplements.UpNourish veggie vitamins bottles

As to the other whole food supplement brands compared here, I’d avoid Amate Life, aSquared Nutrition, Feel Great, and Vital Super Fruits and Veggies. This is due to issues like additives and fillers, average ingredients, underdosing, or being comparatively overpriced.

I think Clean Nutra, BioSchwartz, Life’s Essence, and both versions of Country Farms’ fruit and vegetable supplements are all good choices. Though I wouldn’t choose any of them over UpNourish or Double Wood. In my opinion, these 2 brands are the best-value super fruit and vegetable pills on the market in 2026.

There are similar products to compare here in Balance of Nature Substitutes and Competitors if you’re still looking for the right one for you. I’d also recommend considering Field of Greens if you’d be happy taking a great-tasting green powder rather than capsules.

Thank you for reading my super fruits and veggies supplement guide. Please let me know if you’ve tried any of these brands yourself, or if there’s another one you like me to cover in the comments below.

Is the mg for each vitamin sodium, total calories or what?

Hi Mike and thanks for your question.

I’ve copied the ingredients list for these products directly from their Supplement Facts labels. With fruit and vegetable capsules like this, the brands don’t usually list sodium or calories on the label and the mg listed are the weights of the various whole food blends.

    All the best.
